Set-up and analysis of .CSV files
Exports structure
A study export in edc2go is structured per form. This means that for each form that is created in your CRF structure, a dataset is created in the export.
Exports can be downloaded in either SAS or Excel.
If you choose to work with the Excel exports, you will see that these are .csv files.
Check out these articles for more information about: exports and opening (.csv) exports.
- For each unique form, even if the form name is the same or if it is a copy from another form (like forms DOV_SCR and DOV_BL), a separate file will be present in the export file.
- A form that is linked to multiple visits will only have one export file (like the LB form).
➙ The visit ID is the visit code that can be given to each visit. If you do not create a custom visit code, this code will be system generated with format Vxx. ➙ The form ID is the form code that can be given to each form. If you do not create a custom form code, this code will be system generated with format Fxx.
